Accelerated Programs

Our accelerated programs are designed for the student available to fly Monday through Friday 8am until 4pm EVERYDAY. The student will typically fly five 1.5 hour flights every week. During non-flight time, the student will study on-site and participate in schedulued classroom training sessions.

Since we limit the times when accelerated students are allowed to fly, we offer a signicant discount on airplane and instructor fees. If a student decides to fly outside of those times, normal club prices apply. If a student needs additional training to complete a license or rating once they have completed the program hours, the student will continue to receive the discounted rate for additional training on an hourly basis.

For students not local to Mobile, Alabama, we do have housing options available in the area. Usually, this consists of a room rented from a local homeowner for short term use.

Accelerated programs do not include fees for books, materials, written tests, aircraft rental for checkride, or checkride examiner.

The times listed for accelerated programs do not guarantee a student receives a rating in that period of time. Every student learns at their own pace but we find that students who do accelerated programs tend to complete thier training closer to the FAA minimums.

All accelerated programs must be paid in full to receive the rate discount. If for some reason a student does not fully complete the training and chooses to get get a refund, all flights will be adjusted to normal club rates and will be subject to a cancellation fee.
