Instrument Rating
An instrument rating allows a pilot to fly into instrument meteoroligical conditions (IMC) safely and legally. Without it, a pilot is restricted to flying only in VFR conditions. It is among the hardest ratings a pilot will recieve, and by far one of the most rewarding. Have more confidence on those long cross country flights knowing you can safely fly into the clouds and perform an instrument approach into your destination airport.
